Eva-Dry is a portable mini dehumidifier that uses silica crystals to absorb moisture from the air. The device has an indicator window that appears blue when the unit is dry. Eva-Dry must be recharged (the company uses the term “renewed”) when the window becomes completely pink. The frequency with which the dehumidifier must be renewed depends on the model and the humidity of the area you are trying to keep dry; Generally, the appliances must be renewed every 20-60 days.
