Abela 8 Piece Comforter Set
Kiersty from San Antonio, TX It’s said about Abela 8 Piece Comforter Set
The Abela Bed-In-A-Bag Set is exactly what I was looking for to brighten up my bedroom! I have a room painted a similar color as in the advertising photo, and hoped the set would work. As soon as I got the comforter on the bed, I KNEW it was the right decision! It matched perfectly.
The comforter is lightweight but warm. The shams are a little flimsy, but if they are only used on pillows for accent, it shouldn’t be an issue.
I haven’t used the sheet set yet. It’s a vibrant violet trellis pattern and not exactly what I had hoped for color-wise.
I think gray would have been a better, more neutral option. All in all, I am comfortable with my purchase and would recommend to a friend.

How to Full Polish Cast Iron
Like any other metal with a shiny surface, cast iron becomes opaque over time. Small scratches caused by wear, dirt and even oxidation can combine to create a worn and old-looking surface. Metal restoration is possible through thorough cleaning followed by rapid polishing of the surface. Polishing the cast gives a glow that highlights the beauty of the material, highlighting the details of the cast and enhances its decorative uses. It also leaves a protective layer that helps prevent repeating opaque damage by keeping cast iron objects with a fresh and clean look for years of use.
Insert the object into the cast iron sheet, then wipe off the dirt and debris with a wire brush and a soap and water solution. Get all the clean detailed areas, eliminating everything that covers the iron from the bare metal. Rinse the iron object with clean water to remove soap residues.
Remove any traces of an existing finish on the object by brushing a chemical paint solvent. Allow the remover to remain in place for as long as recommended by the manufacturer, then clean removal with a piece of cloth. Rinse the object again with water and allow it to dry completely.
Apply a spoonful of metallic polish, about a quarter of a diameter on the surface of a steel wool pad # 0000. Spread the glaze on the cast iron surface, rubbing it firmly on the metal to cover the entire surface. Use a small circular motion when rubbing the nail polish.
Remove rust from the surface by rubbing with the pad while applying the polish. Allow the glaze to dry to an opaque haze.
Rub the enamel dry until you get a shine with a new piece of pad. Use the same circular movement used to apply the enamel to highlight the brightness of the metal, working in a small section at a time until the desired brightness is achieved.
Repeat the enamel application process to apply an additional layer of enamel to act as a protective layer on the first one.
